Kinja'd!!!2 Kinja'd!!! 25

Got some new, updated pictures of the Tipo, so I can stop using those old one from 2011. Yeah, the car still looks the same, except it now sits a little lower and there are some new stickers, but whatever, hahaha...

Kinja'd!!!

Got a Datass picture as well, because if there is one thing the Tipo has is a big booty.

Kinja'd!!!

Speaking of new stickers, just applied these.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

But... the updated pictures are from before I applied the new apex stickers, so I'll have to take newer, up-to-dater pictures...

Well fuck, I actually hadn't noticed that... The updated pictures were taken at my parents' place, but the new sticker pictures were taken at the garage I rent and the guys who move the cars around leave the keys on the wipers for easy access...

Eh well, I pity the fool who steals my car. It would break down 10 feet away from the garage, hahaha...

This is how I feel about people that might ever try to steal my car. Have at it, boys!

Thanks! I'm actually a big fan of the era's (late 80's, early 90's) designs for their simplicity and minimalism. For example:

Just to point a few favorites. Basic strong shapes, handsome clean lines, and low, sleek profiles trump by far today's squircles, cuts and raised beltlines in my book :]

Awwww you included an E36 M3 <3

And an Audi quattro, which is far superior, but I don't own one of those.

And I wholeheartedly agree.

Yup, and I'm dead serious about it too :]

I actually prefer the E36 over the latter models, not just because of its shape, but because it was built right around the time importing cars to Brazil became legal once again and the economy was kind of in an upswing, so I used to see lots of them as a kid and there are many of them still around, most of them are 2 door 328s. I seriously considered buying one, just like the one in the picture, a few years ago, it was a black 328i with 30 thousand km and about as clean as they come for 18 grand.

That would've been a nice car. I hope to someday get a really great E36. I love mine to death, unfortunately death isn't too far away for her. I prefer the E36 over most other M3s, because all the later ones are heavy and excessive, and now everyone loves the crap outta the E30, so they're all too expensive and I'd feel bad driving it hard.

Heh, those are actually very good reasons. This might be a little hipsterish, but I tend to stay away from cars that are too popular, like the E30 and the Dodge Charger, for example, because no matter what you do with them, there's always a "diehard fan" of the model waiting to tell you how much wrong you are for doing it.

When you go with something less popular, but with similar performance, not only you're paying less for it, but you can do whatever the hell you want and not have people telling you the wheels are wrong, the style is wrong and the performance is wrong.

Kinja'd!!!

In fact, pleasant surprise is the reaction you're most likely to get, hahaha...

Yes, precisely! Nobody is pretentious about an E36. Actually most people hate it. So I love it. Except that I have to take the bus to work right now. That is definitely not cool sometimes.

The drawbacks of owning a jalop. :p

Every now and then I have to fall back to buses as well. It's not that often, but it happens, most of the time due to the world famous italian electric gremlins. I had the cooling fan malfunction again today, but a bitchslap to the fusebox solved it, hahaha....

Nice! I have German electrical gremlins. And mechanical gremlins. And pretty much all the other types too...
